Blaydon Race 2003 Click here for the photos Wota lush night for a race.  Tale wind, nice temprature and good compatition @ the same time.  The results arn't up on joelee.co.uk yet but we do know the order of finishers for the junior men: 1.   Kirk - 28.48 (18th) 2.  Andrew - 31.46 (50th overall) (5th U20) 3.  Gareth - 31.59 (56th overall) (6th U20) 4.  Chris - 34 Something!! Can't find your name!!! Andrew was well chuffed after beetin sum blowkie from south shields who beet him @ the Blyth Valley 10 and Gareth was pleased with his time but without a last mile painful blister could probably have done better. The support at the finish was immense and both athletes commented that this help pull em round to the finish line which seemed to be getting further and further away ! Some improvement from last year for Andrew - last years time was betterered by almost a full 4 minutes !!! The previous years time of 35.27 was knocked down to size with the 2003 race being 31.47!  The athlete commented that the achievement was largely down to the supurb coaching which he is experienceing @ Morpeth Harriers through Mick Groves, George Patterson and Jim Alder.
