Young Athletes Road Relays - Birmingham 06/04/03
No Photos coz I forgot me camera...and Gareth forgot his too :-( But the results are here
Never mind...not much to say really. Cloudy day, long trip down, but we were reminded of home (just ask Gareth) when we could here 'The Saddam Song' blasting out of some kids earphones (obviously a fan of this site...) But anyway, the race. Well we had an A and a B team:
A Team = Kirk Wilson, Andrew Lawrence, Nathen Schrubb (fin. 15th)
B Team = Gareth Driscoll, Joe Wood, Sean Kirtley. (fin. 36th)
Pre race only Andrew and Gareth were 'fit,' everyone else had either flu or hadn't trained for while so we didn't expect much and we didn't win much either - well nothing actually...But, hey, thats life, you can't win everything. Therefore the times meant nothing but there here if you want them.
